WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The contract work will include structural-stress analysis, structural design, solid modeling, and advanced composite design and analysis, the release said.
"Analysis Modeling and Programming Sciences…is being awarded a $35,708,232 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to perform engineering stress analysis and design modification on aircraft repairs in support of the F/A-18 weapon system platform," the release on Thursday stated.
Work is to be performed at the Navy’s Fleet Readiness Center in California and is expected to be completed in October 2021.
