MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Sky News Arabia channel, the funeral of one of the military commanders of the city killed in clashes with the Houthis was taking place in the hall at the moment of explosion.

None of the terrorist groups has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.

Fighting in Yemen continues unabated since late 2014, when the opposition Houthis staged mass anti-government protests and ousted UN-recognized President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi in spring 2015.
