MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kerry said the talks were a candid brainstorming session, according to Reuters.
He has not ruled out that different approaches could be formed as result of the talks adding that several ministers offered a number of ideas.
The state secretary noted that the participants of the talks agreed to keep up working on the remaining issues and may come up with the road map for the political negotiations on Syria.
Kerry stressed that the next round of talks will take place on Monday.
The foreign ministers of Russia, the United States, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Jordan and Qatar took part in the talks on the Syrian settlement earlier in the day.
