He also said that the organization was making efforts to fight the cholera outbreak in the country.

On October 4, Hurricane Matthew tore through Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. At least 473 people died and nearly 1.5 million remain in need of humanitarian assistance in Haiti, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
