WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Seventy-three percent of Republicans believe that the US Presidential Election could be stolen from Donald Trump, a new poll revealed on Monday.
Of 1,999 registered voters surveyed from October 13 —15, 73 percent think the election could be stolen, according to the poll released by Politico/Morning Consult.
The poll also found that 41 percent of US voters say the November election could be stolen from Trump because of widespread voter fraud, with 17 percent of Democrats agreeing with the possibility of a fraud on Election Day.
Earlier on Monday, Trump claimed large-scale voter fraud was happening as the first early voting results were made public.
The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 8.
