MOSCOW (Sputnik) – An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck off the Philippines coast on Monday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The earthquake occurred at 21:45 GMT on Monday at a depth of 65 kilometers (about 40 miles), 8 kilometers (about 5 miles) east–northeast of San Isidro, Philippines, according to the USGS.
No information on casualties or damage from the quake has been provided yet.
