LONDON (Sputnik) — Russia's Rosneft and the United Kingdom's BP oil companies will begin exploration work next spring as part of their new joint venture, BP CEO Bob Dudley said Tuesday.
Dudley told reporters in London the Yermak Neftegaz LLC joint venture had obtained permits to work on the project in Russia's West Siberian and Yenisey-Khatanga basins.
Rosneft and BP signed final binding agreements establishing Yermak Neftegaz at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in June.
