NEW DELHI (Sputnik) — Head of Sputnik International Projects Vasily Pushkov suggested improving information exchange while speaking at the 2nd BRICS Media Forum which opened on October 18.
The creation of a common working space for BRICS media began in October 2015 in Russia, when the agency organised the 1st BRICS Media Forum in Moscow. Due to its efforts, Sputnik has become the largest player in the BRICS media space and has signed cooperation agreements with 11 leading media outlets of BRICS countries.
“Sputnik suggests that the leaders of the BRICS information space sign agreements on content exchange and move towards the creation of an open information policy between them.” Pushkov said.
