WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has retaken the lead from her Republican rival Donald Trump in the traditionally Republican state of Nevada, a new Monmouth University poll revealed on Tuesday.
"Among Nevada voters likely to participate in November's presidential election, 47 percent currently support Clinton and 40 percent back Trump," a press release about the poll stated.
Clinton had a four point lead in the same poll in July, but Trump jumped two points ahead of her in mid-September.
The release noted Clinton's increased support is primarily from younger, non-white voters.
The poll had a margin of error of 4.8 percent.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 8.
