"Raytheon becoming a member of the EDIA is a milestone in industry collaboration and is a testament to the strong and enduring relationship between Estonia and the United States,” Estonian Defense Minister Hannes Hanso stated in the release.
The company’s membership was announced at an EDIA event, attended by Raytheon CEO John Harris, on trans-Atlantic security cooperation and industry collaboration, according to the release.
"Raytheon's EDIA membership will allow us to further our global relationships in Estonia and explore new opportunities to collaborate with Estonian companies,” Harris said.
In 2015, Raytheon began an arrangement with Estonia’s government to explore long-term collaboration in cybersecurity, and the company’s EDIA membership will further that goal, the release added.
