WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States and Russia held their 12th commission meeting to discuss issues related to the New START nuclear arms reduction agreement, the US Department of State said in a press release.
"The Twelfth session of the Bilateral Consultative Commission under the US-Russia New START Treaty took place in Geneva, October 5-18," the release stated on Tuesday. "The US and Russian delegations continued to discuss practical issues related to the implementation of the Treaty."
The START treaty established the Bilateral Consultative Commission to discuss issues related to treaty implementation.
