"The [Security] Council discussed the first stage of the operation to liberate Mosul. This operation will be prolonged. France intends to prepare for the period which will begin after its completion. To this end international consultations will be held in Paris on October 20 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on October 25 by the Ministry of Defense," the presidential office's statement said.
