Russian, Syrian Strikes on Terrorist Sites Near Aleppo Halted for Over 24 Hours
BERLIN (Sputnik) – According to the Kremlin, the leaders of Russia, France and Germany will discuss the situation in Syria after their talks in Berlin in the Normandy Four format on the Ukrainian reconciliation.

"After numerous attacks on Aleppo by [Syrian President Bashar] Assad’s regime and his allies we are dealing with a catastrophic situation. Don’t expect more from the meeting on Syria than these circumstances and all the guilty parties will be openly listed in the office of the chancellor," he told a briefing.

In the past month, Aleppo has been a battlefield between Syrian government forces, jihadists, and numerous opposition groups. The Syrian army and local militia forces have managed to encircle large groups of terrorists in some districts of the city, but it is yet to be fully liberated.
