MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The letter was reportedly sent by the Estonia’s Right Sector and the Estonian Independence Party.
"At the moment we are striving for irrevocable legal ban on the Russian television in the territory of the republic. The Estonia’s Right Sector will carry out a campaign removing satellite dishes of Russian TV-channels from buildings’ facades and roofs. The Independence Party and the Rights Sector start to actively block the work of the news office of the holding Sputnik-News in Estonia," the letter read.
"It is surprising that people, who are proud of the Fascist uniform of their fathers, can make such statements in an EU member state and threaten the work of mass media," Sputnik Deputy Editor-in-Chief Sergei Kochetkov said.
Sputnik Estonia journalists have repeatedly faced discrimination although the international organization Reporters Without Borders ranking Estonia 14th out of 180 countries for freedom of speech observance.
