MOSCOW (Sputnik) — PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) together with BAV Consulting company carried out a research, on the basis of which they created a list of world's 23 best cities. The key metrics for the survey, published in the Business Insider magazine, comprised the levels and influence in terms of politics, economics, infrastructure, innovation, culture, entertainment, as well as the access to public education, public health and other points.
According to the survey, Moscow ranks 22nd, winning in the category of being politically influential. The UK capital of London took the first place, followed by Paris and New-York. The 23d place was given to South African Johannesburg due to the sustained development and the level of environment protection.
The survey was conducted among 5,200 respondents from 16 countries aged above 18. The results will be used for PwC report entitled "Empowering city brands: Bridging the perception and reality divide."
