Terrorists Threaten to Kill Civilians Preparing to Leave Eastern Aleppo
ALEPPO (Sputnik) — An 11-hour pause in Syrian and Russian airstrikes came into effect in Aleppo earlier today. Civilians were asked to use six exit routes, but a militia source in Aleppo said jihadists from al-Nusra Front opened fire on thousands of people as they attempted to leave, wounding several civilians.

"People want to leave, we are tired of war. Hundreds of people have gathered in Hananu to demand that militants let us go," the resident said, adding a clashes between al-Nusra [Front] fighters and several militias broke out earlier today in the neighboring Bustan al-Qasr district.

The humanitarian pause will last until 7:00 p.m. local time (16:00 GMT). Al-Nusra Front, which renamed itself to Jabhat Fatah al-Sham after claiming to have severed links to al-Qaeda, is considered a terrorist group by the United Nations and is outlawed in many countries across the globe, including Russia.
