MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Greece, Guatemala and Indonesia are failing to comply with the World Anti-Doping Code and have three weeks to fix the violations, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) said in a statement.
"The [WADA's independent Compliance Review] Committee concluded that these NADOs were not currently in compliance with the 2015 Code; and decided that, unless their pending issues… are solved before 10 November, the CRC will submit recommendations of non-compliance to the Agency’s Foundation Board," the statement issued on Wednesday read.
On September 3, at a meeting of the CRC, Azerbaijan, Brazil and Guatemala were already warned that they faced the threat of being declared non-compliant unless pending issues were resolved.
The Agency’s Foundation Board will meet on November 19 in Glasgow, Scotland, where the situation will be addressed.
