Republicans Demand US DoS Probe of ‘Quid Pro Quo’ Offer Regarding Clinton Email
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The newly-released files, which appeared in the freedom of information act documents section of the State Department website, are mostly devoted to scheduling matters.

Clinton has been severely criticized for the use of a private email server and account for official business during her 2009-2013 tenure as secretary of state.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) conducted a criminal investigation whether Clinton intended to break US laws by using the private server and accounts. In July, FBI Director James Comey described Clinton’s conduct as extremely careless, but said it did not warrant criminal charges.
