RIYADH (Sputnik) — Riyadh and Moscow have agreed on a deal between Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC states aimed at stabilizing oil market, which is planned to be signed in November, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said at a press conference on Sunday after a meeting with the Russian counterpart.
“We have come to a consensus with Russia regarding what deal we can reach at a meeting in November,” the minister said.
He stressed that Saudi Arabia is optimistic regarding the future of the oil market and oil prices.
