TOKYO (Sputnik) — Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin arrived in Pyongyang with an unannounced visit, Japanese media reported Monday.
This is the second visit by a high-ranking Chinese official to North Korea this year, while the first visit was conducted by China’s chief nuclear envoy Wu Dawei in February, the Kyodo news agency said.
No information on the purposes of the visit and deputy foreign minister’s agenda has been provided.
