Ex-Pennsylvania Attorney General Kane Released From Detention
Kathleen Kane, former Attorney General of the US state of Pennsylvania, has posted a bail in the amount of $75,000 and left detention, a US Montgomery County Correctional Facility clerk told Sputnik.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Kane was sentenced to 10 to 23 months in prison for organizing the release of confidential information to harm the reputation of her rival Jerry Mondesire and for lying to prosecutors.

"Kane posted a bail before 6 pm. She has already left the facility," the clerk confirmed on Monday evening.
Kane resigned from the position Attorney General in August, shortly after she was found guilty on nine criminal charges, including perjury and abuse of office.
