Female Kurdish Peshmerga units are taking part in the fighting at Hazir, Naveran and Bashiqa fronts.
32-year-old Berivan Salihber voiced the firm intention of female Peshmerga officers to fight against the "common enemy" until the final victory, so that women, and the whole population of the region, can live freely.
"We have been fighting against Daesh for over two years already," she told Sputnik.
"There are hundreds of women in our ranks. However there are those who died heroically in fierce battles with the jihadists," she added.
"When they see Peshmerga female fighters, Daesh militants start to panic and try not to engage in an open fight with us, as death from the hand of a woman is considered by them as humiliating and disgraceful," Salihber said.
She further explained that the jihadists think that they won't get into heaven if they are killed by a woman.
"From the very start of the Mosul offensive we have been fighting at the frontline and we were able to beat the jihadists from three Iraqi settlements," she said.
Salihber said that the women are unable to live quiet and peaceful lives on the territories captured by the terrorists.
"They continue to live on but it could not be called life," she said, adding that women are fighting against Daesh for the sake of a free democratic life, for the sake of their country, their brothers and women.
They are ready to fight until the final victory, she stressed.
Meanwhile 27-year-old Nican Solin Rojhılat said that she came from the Iranian Kurdistan (Rojhilat) to fight against Daesh in Iraq.
"I, as dozens of my fellow countrymen, has left my family and has come from Iran to fight against Daesh," she told Sputnik.
"We are currently fighting at Naveran and Bashiqa fronts and were able to eliminate many militants. They are afraid of us," she said.
The fighter said that the jihadists have already lost considerable amounts of their forces and are unable to attack and defend themselves the way they did before.
Rojhılat also said that female Peshmerga units want to liberate the Yazidi women whom Daesh hold captive in Mosul and thus they won't leave the battlefield until Daesh is finally eliminated.
