MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC) deal on oil output limit is 90 percent complete, there are no principal disagreements among its members, a cartel source told RIA Novosti on Monday.
OPEC agreed in late September to cut its oil production for the first time in eight years. The output ceiling was set at 32.5-33 million barrels a day for the whole cartel. Further details of the deal are due to be unveiled at the group’s meeting in November.
"The agreement is about 90 percent ready," the source said, answering a corresponding question.
According to the source, there are no "principal disagreements" among the members of the cartel on the issue.
