SOCHI (Sputnik) – On October 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, US State Secretary John Kerry, UN Special Envoy on Syria Staffan de Mistura, as well as foreign ministers of Qatar, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt participated in the meeting on Syria crisis settlement in the Swiss city of Lausanne.
"The talks are underway. Straight after the ministerial talks in Lausanne, the expert-level contacts continued in the five-party format – us with our US co-chairs of mechanisms and representatives of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. They prepared a working document on their level which deals with a whole range of situations in Aleppo – ceasefire, humanitarian corridors," he said.
According to him, the experts received a "task from the ministers to clarify certain issues," including withdrawal of militants from the city. The document is currently under consideration.
