MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Western Aleppo was shelled 52 times by militants during the three days of a humanitarian pause, 14 people were killed and 50 more were wounded, the Russian General Staff said Tuesday.
"In three days of the humanitarian pause, residential districts were shelled by militants with mortars and rocket systems. As a result, 14 people died and more than 50 were wounded," Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi, chief of the Russian General Staff Main Operational Directorate said at a briefing.
According to him, the militants also attacked humanitarian corridors 15 times, injuring three Russian officers.
