BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is monitoring the movement of two Russian ships in the Baltic Sea, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Wednesday.
"I can confirm that two Russian warships have recently entered the Baltic Sea, and NATO is monitoring this movement in the way we always do," Stoltenberg told reporters after a defense ministerial meeting.
"We are always monitoring these kind of movements and deployments of Russian naval forces," he added.
