WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The claim belied conclusions of a separate report on Monday, also by HHS, warning that premiums for insurance sold through Obamacare exchanges would increase by an average 25 percent.
"We want all individuals without workplace coverage to know that thanks to financial assistance, most HealthCare.gov enrollees have coverage options for less than $75 per month," the release said on Tuesday. "Open Enrollment for 2017 coverage begins November 1."
In the US state of Arizona, premiums are slated to double, Monday’s report said.
It is not uncommon for Obamacare customers, who qualify for subsidies, to pay in excess of $1,000 per month for insurance with new rates and rising deductibles that take effect next year.
