GENEVA (Sputnik) – Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov has signed a cooperation agreement with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, stipulating urgent information exchange on humanitarian operations.
“I confirm our readiness to continue exchange of urgent information, as well as practical knowledge, methods and experience when it comes to carrying out humanitarian and rescue missions in order to coordinate out activities and improve the effectiveness of urgent humanitarian response,” the minister said.
In turn, head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies Elhadj As Sy stressed his wish to continue fruitful cooperation with Russia.
