MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian Ministry of Education and Science has presented to the government a plan of development in the spheres of science and technology until the year 2035, ministry’s head Olga Vasilyeva said Wednesday.
“The document was presented to the government last week,” Vasilyeva said.
Earlier in the day, Vladimir Fortov, the president of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said that the plan would be discussed at a meeting of the Presidential Council for Science and Education next week.
The plan of science and technology development of Russia is set to determine how Russian scientists' inventions will help the country to respond to modern challenges.
