WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — According to the candidates’ latest filings with the US Federal Election Commission, through September 30 Trump personally has contributed $56.1 million to his own campaign. During the same period Clinton has given $1.3 million to her campaign.
"I'll have over $100 million in the campaign, and I'm prepared to go much more than that," Trump told CNN after a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday for his new hotel in Washington, DC. "Hillary Clinton has nothing in the campaign. She's all special interests and donors, and they give her the money then she will do whatever they tell her to do."
Trump declined to give details when asked to specify how much he will spend between now and Election Day, November 8.
