SEVEROMORSK (Sputnik) — The battle group left its base port of Severomorsk on October 15 and approached the Spanish shores on Wednesday on its way to Syria, where Russia is fighting the Daesh terror group.
"This and other tasks incurred significant financial and material costs, and required organizational and decision-making skills," Dmitry Bulgakov told reporters after inspecting the Fleet’s logistical support capabilities.
The check lasted for almost a month between September 27 and October 25. It spanned ten logistic operations centers and some 70 military facilities, including bases, flotillas, Navy recruiting offices and clinics.
