BEIJING (Sputnik) – On Thursday, the Washington Free Beacon media outlet reported, citing the late draft report of the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission, that Chinese spies infiltrated US national security agencies and stole plans for a possible future conflict with China.
“Accusation against other countries must rely on facts. The organization … is always making irresponsible statements about Chinese-US relations, which does not contribute to their development,” Kang said at a briefing.
According to Washington Free Beacon, the FBI as well as the US Pacific Command (USPACOM) were subject to Chinese spying.
The media outlet also reported that FBI electronics technician Kun Shan “Joey” Chun admitted his guilt that he had passed data about FBI surveillance technologies to China.
The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission’s report is expected to be issued on November 16.
