In the world of beauty pageants, Miss International Beauty is one of the most desired titles along with Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss Universe. Miss Philippines Kylie Verzosa was crowned this year's winner on October 27.
Miss International Beauty Pageant was first held in 1960 in California, US. Since then, it has moved to Asia, where either China or Japan act as the host for this pageant.
The contestants serve as "beauty goodwill ambassadors". The ultimate goal of this pageant is to promote world peace, goodwill and understanding.
