According to the Russian Defense Ministry, at least five people were killed and seven injured as a result of Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (also known as al-Nusra Front, or Jabhat al-Nusra) attack on government forces in Aleppo.
"The militants of the Jabhat Fatah al-Sham terrorist group used "shaheed car" [suicide car bomb] against the positions of government troops near the quarter Hai al-Ansari in the city of Aleppo. The explosion killed five people and injured seven," the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.

The United States, Russia and a number of other countries and international organizations have been struggling to find solution for the five-year long conflict ravaging Syria, where the government forces loyal to the President Bashar Assad are confronted by the opposition, ranging from the so-called moderates to the terrorist groups Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (also known as al-Nusra Front, or Jabhat al-Nusra) and Daesh, both outlawed in Russia in many other countries.
