“Cooperation agreements have been signed; joint projects are being worked out including those in modern multimedia formats. We highly appreciate that and are open for further cooperation,” Gornostaev said at a media forum in the Chinese city of Guangzhou, organized by the Sputnik news agency and the China Daily website.
He added that it creation of a joint news content would be useful.
“We have already discussed with the Xinhua agency a possibility of creating a joint news wire on the energy sphere, which is especially topical amid increasing cooperation between our states and companies in the oil and gas branch. We are ready to return to this topic,” Gornostaev said.
The media forum, which is held as part of the Year of the Russian Media in China and the Year of the Chinese Media in Russia, started on Friday and will end on Saturday.
