MOSCOW (Sputnik) —Syria is moving toward national reconciliation, the aide said.

“We are ready to resume these talks under the condition that the other party, the Syrian opposition, is ready as well. Moreover, we are moving toward a very important course – the national reconciliation in Syria,” Shaaban told in the interview to Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Shaaban added that the Syrian government had reached very important steps in establishing truce.

“Many people lay down their arms, join the Syrian government to restore out country,” Shaaban said.
