MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Trump was polling at 46.2 percent, outpacing Clinton with her 43.8 percent support, according to the Los Angeles Times poll.
The Daybreak poll interviews nearly 3,000 respondents each week through the election day. The Daybreak results are at odds with other major polls, who mostly have Clinton polling higher than Trump, which is explained by the poll's method, instead of asking a yes or no question like other polls do, Daybreak asks the respondents to measure the likelihood of their voting for a candidate on a scale from 0 to 100.
The US presidential elections will take place on November 8.
