WASHINGTON(Sputnik) — The US presidential race between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump is now too close to call in the electoral swing state of North Carolina, a new poll revealed Tuesday.
“Among likely voters, Clinton has 42 percent of the vote while Trump has 41.2 percent,” a press release on the Elon University poll stated.

The release noted that just under 9 percent of voters remain undecided.
The election is scheduled for November 8, but early voting in North Carolina began October 20.
