The Emmery Celtic Cross was named in honor of the local forester Liam Emmery, who planned it out years prior and planted different types of trees in a special order. About 100 meters in length and 70 meters wide, the cross now can be spotted from the air. Unfortunately, Mr. Emmery wasn't able to enjoy the results of his work as he passed away 6 years ago.
