WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The results were within the 3-point margin of sampling error, demonstrating how close the race is only a few days ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
"The poll finds a 47-44 percent race between Clinton and Trump in a four-day average among likely voters, vs. Trump’s best result, 45-46 percent, three days ago," the poll found.
Additionally, the poll found the candidates were close in overall trust on key issues, with Clinton up by 5 on healthcare, 4 on terrorism and national security, but nearly even with Trump on issues such as the economy and immigration.
However, among early voters included in the sample, Clinton led Trump 50-45 percent.
Notably, Clinton’s numbers among non-white voters were at their highest since July. Black voters backed her 90-5 percent, Hispanics 68-27 percent and other minority groups by 55-31 percent.
The US presidential election will be held on November 8.
