BERLIN (Sputnik) — According to the Spiegel magazine, citing the prosecutor's office, those suspected are Facebook Managing Director Sheryl Sandberg, Director of Policy in Europe Richard Allan, and Head of Public Policy in Germany Eva-Maria Kirschsieper.
The case was initiated by the attorney of Wurzburg, Chan-jo Jun, who accused the Facebook management of tolerating the spread of hate speech, incitement to murder in the social network, as well as threats of violence and statements denying the Holocaust, among other things. The lawyer submitted a suit with a list of claims to the prosecutor's office, which he believed would prove his point.
In late October, 73 civil rights organizations issued a joint letter calling on Zuckerberg to revise Facebook's censorship policies on written posts, photographs and videos that reveal police brutality and other human rights violations against people of colour.
