WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — “This is the typical chatter you have every two years," Ryan said in an interview on Wisconsin radio show. "I am going to seek staying on as Speaker.”
On Thursday, The Hill reported that Ryan's days in the US House of Representatives were numbered, saying several US lawmakers suggested Ryan would resign after November 8.
In response to the speculations, Ryan noted that he had "a lot of unfinished work to do" and expressed his continuing commitment to implement an agenda of the US Republican party.
According to the media, Ryan will make an appearance at a Saturday rally of Republican Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence in Wisconsin.
