KIEV (Sputnik) — Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko will visit Slovenia on November 8 to hold talks with the country's leadership, the press service of the Ukrainian head of state said Friday.
"On November 8, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay an official visit to the Republic of Slovenia at the invitation of the president [of Slovenia Borut Pahor]," the press service said in a statement.
According to the press service, Poroshenko will hold talks with Pahor, Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar, as well as with Chairman of the National Assembly Milan Brglez. In addition, the Ukrainian leader is scheduled to meet with the heads of the leading Slovenian companies, including those present on the Ukrainian market.
A number of bilateral agreements is expected to be signed during the visit, the statement added.
