One exchange reveals the DNC's concern over Facebook founder Mark Zuckerbuerg's support of the Keystone XL pipeline and arctic drilling.
"Did we just hear that correctly?" reads an email to Podesta from Vanessa Kritzer, online campaigns manager for the league of conservation voters.
"Zuckerberg has led a bunch of tech industry leaders in launching a political group called FWD.us, which is supposed to be focused on building support for immigration reform. But for their first big TV ads they have decided to run messages that applaud legislators for supporting the dangerous Keystone XL tar sands pipeline and pushing for drilling the Arctic Refuge.
"Seriously, what the heck are they thinking?"
Another exchange shows Gary Hirshberg, the CEO of an organic yogurt producer, attempting to convince Podesta to apply pressure to the White House to avoid signing legislation.
"I can promise you that if President Obama signs this terrible legislation that blatantly validates Bernie's [Sanders] entire campaign message about Wall Street running our government, this will give Bernie a huge boost and 10,000 — 20,000 outraged citizens," Hirshberg wrote.
Another suggests that Clinton may have been forced to forego her campaign jet in favor of a commercial airline.
"Dan is saying he has source saying HRC is flying back to NY commercial. Asking for confirmation. Lemme know how you wanna handle Jesse," reads an email from Ian Sims of Hillary for America.
The whistleblower website published the first batch of emails on October 8.
