At least three people were killed and seven more wounded after being stabbed in the city of Newark, New Jersey, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The attack was carried out in the house, the NBC 4 New York broadcaster reported citing a local prosecutor.

The broadcaster added that the investigation was ongoing and the nearby area had been blocked by police officers.

According to the media outlet, local law enforcers still do not have a suspect and do not know the motives of the incident.
