MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A Chinese state-run tech hub has contacted the Russian agency, saying it has a budget of over $2 million it is ready to invest in various high-tech projects and startups, Kladov said. "We’ve already agreed on a list of technologies we will prepare offers on," he added.
"China is literally suffocated by smog and challenged by water and soil contamination, and it desperately needs such technologies," Rostec’s Viktor Kladov told RIA Novosti.
China wants to transform Russian innovative ideas into industrial technologies and implement them, according to the Russian official. The Chinese are interested in several Russian key technologies – waste composting, using lasers to heat up trash and burning waste to generate electricity.
