MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to one of the emails, the National Committee’s members had been informed of the forthcoming interview in advance and had the opportunity to prepare the list of questions to the Republican candidate.
"Wolf Blitzer is interviewing Trump on Tues ahead of his foreign policy address on Wed. Please send me thoughts by 10:30 AM tomorrow. Thanks!" Research Director of the DNC Lauren Dillon wrote on April 25, 2016.
The follow-up email correspondence demonstrated that the questions prepared by the democrats were related to the potential withdrawal of US troops from South Korea, reduction of the US funding to the United Nations and to the personality of Trump’s aide who assisted him in writing the speech on foreign affairs issue.
According to the emails, the members of the National Committee had also prepared a list of questions, related to Trump’s arguable expressions, involving the incidents when Trump accused Saudi Arabia in plotting terrorist attacks on September 11 in 2001, stated readiness to conduct preventive strike on North Korea and noted that US funding to NATO and the United Nations was disproportionate when compared to the other states’ contributions.
