STRELNA (Sputnik) — China is one of Russia’s largest trading partners. Medvedev said he had agreed several measures with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang, who is on an official trip to Russia, to bring the two neighbors closer together and step up integration between Russia's Eurasian Economic Union and China’s Silk Road Economic Belt.

"We’ll need to agree a whole range of sensitive issues," Prime Minister Medvedev said, commenting on the outlooks of a preferential trade regime, after meeting with his Chinese counterpart.

Earlier, Medvedev said that Russia and China are planning to make additional efforts to bring bilateral trade volume to $200 billion in the next 3-7 years.

The Chinese premier arrived in Russia on Sunday at the invitation of the country's prime minister for talks on Russian-Chinese economic, investment and nuclear partnership.
