KHABAROVSK (Russia) (Sputnik) — The servicemen of Russia's Eastern Military District will participate in three military exercises with participation of foreign troops in 2017, the district's press service said in a statement on Monday.
"In 2017, [the troops to take part in] Russian-Mongolian Selenga-2017 maneuvers, which are expected to be held from August till September in Mongolia. The venue for international Indra-2017 international drills will be set at the first planning conference by representatives of Russian and Indian defense ministries. Furthermore, the first joint Russian-Vietnamese military exercises are planned [to be held] in October 2017," the statement said.
The statement added that the district's troops had already participated in three Russian-Indian drills and in nine Selenga maneuvers with Mongolian military.
According to the statements, all the drills would be held in line with the program of the district's international cooperation.
