WikiLeaks Releases 33rd Batch of Clinton Campaign Chair Podesta's Emails
14:12 GMT 07.11.2016 (Updated: 18:19 GMT 03.11.2022) WikiLeaks released the 33rd batch of emails from the account of US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The new email disclosure pushed the total number of the leaked emails to 56,000, which is even more than 50,000 that WikiLeaks promised to publish before the US presidential election on November 8.
7 November 2016, 08:49 GMT
The whistleblower website published the first batch of emails on October 8.
Previous emails released by the whistleblowing website revealed that Podesta urged other campaign staff members to dump Clinton's emails after the New York Times first reported that she had used a private server for government correspondence.
On October 20, the whistleblowing website also published a bunch of letters sent to or by Barack Obama before he became US president.
